Demons are a race that hail from Hurazad, The Demon Realm. A race of people born to serve Abulzeth, The God of Destruction, they once thirsted for only hate and war. However, an experiment resulted in more intelligent beings, and many more subclasses of Demons. All Demons, no matter the subclass, have black blood.
Characteristics:
Old World Demons: Old world Demons are those that were created prior to the experiments conducted during The War of the Worlds. They are mostly rather brutish creatures that only came above ground to serve their God. They lack individuality, heavily under control of their God. However, there are some exceptions to this bruteness, particularly in the few Demons that escaped the grasp of Abulzeth. They can be very very intelligent if allowed to learn and thrive. Even showing aspects of humility and kindness.
New World Demons: After experimentation that took place during The War of the Worlds, Demons were left forever changed. They gained in some cases more humanoid bodies, as well as high levels of skill and intelligence. As well, they gained individuality. These subclasses of Demons are closer to looking like any other mortal humanoid race, living exceptionally long lives. They are highly intelligent and creative creatures, being more like Elves or other intelligent races.
Religions:
Old world Demons worshiped Abulzeth, The God of Destruction exclusively. New world Demons, however, worship many Gods. However, they mostly worship Charathane, the God of the Dead.
Mating & Reproduction:
The mating and reproductive aspects of Demons can be quite wild and far between depending on the subspecies. However, they usually never stop at one mate. At times having several. For old world Demons, it’s more so to repopulate their race quickly. For new world Demons however, it’s because of their capacity to love more than one mate at once.
