General Info:
Seen as a rather brutish race, do not be fooled. While many Orcs changed their alliances to the God of Destruction, it is the true Orc race that remains. Keepers of lore and knowledge, they live within the harsh desert environments of Harenfell.
Characteristics:
With generally darker green skin, pointed ears, and tusks, this race is exceptionally strong. While many become warriors, many more become users of Irathis, following the teachings of the Gods closely. They can be a warring race, as is seen with those who turned their backs on the Gods, however, the true Orc race are peaceful.
Religions:
Worshipers of the Gods, they are keepers of lore within The Library of Glass. Led by The Light Keepers, long living sacred Orcs chosen by the Gods, they have very close relationships with the Gods. The last of the pantheon can often be found within the library in fact, as it is a spiritual sanctuary from the things that go bump in the night. However, they have a very close relationship with Charathane, who the library was initially built by as a way to save the ancient knowledge from an age long forgotten.
Mating & Reproduction:
With females being less common than males, only those with the best Irathis abilities are chosen to father children, unless a female chooses a male on her own, which is allowed. With a general gestation time of eight months, children are taught early on to use Irathis within the Library. Not often do Orcs leave the walls of their blessed sanctuary, but when they do, they can be great allies in the fight against the darkness. As their religion is their sword.
