This being is one of shadow, but also one of a pure heart. The direct advisor of The Apostle of the Shadows, Varlant is another pair of eyes in the skies. With the body of a raven, he is a solid form of shadow with bright red eyes. A vital companion of The Silence, he carries out his master’s will swiftly. With the ability to use the shadows to travel and transmit the thoughts of his master, he has become a more than willing mouth piece when he is needed. Varlant can duplicate himself but it takes a great amount of power to do and a special symbol. Regardless of being a Shadow Being, Varlant is quite expressive. He greatly enjoys the affection the members of The Silence give, as well as the snacks and kind words. He understands human speech, even though he cannot speak himself.
