Ferdinand is Helmend's twin brother, an Italian American who helped to build the railroad west with his brother. In 1853 when they were working on their locomotive as it traveled between stations, Cline appeared behind them and pushed us between the cars. They were pulled under the racing train, and cut clean in half. This fate trapped him on the banks of The Spirit World forever. That was until Tier created a new body for him.
An extremely chipper man, Ferdinand is always in a good mood. Even as he's beating his foes senseless with his cestus. He loves playing his Hurdy Gurdy in the band along with Aris, Fletcher, Belview, and Helmend. His amazing mood stems from the belief that there's always something to smile about. That is until you harm his family and friends.
