Helmend is Ferdinand's twin brother, an Italian American who helped to build the railroad west with his brother. In 1853 when they were working on their locomotive as it traveled between stations, Cline appeared behind them and pushed us between the cars. They were pulled under the racing train, and cut clean in half. This fate trapped him on the banks of The Spirit World forever. That was until Tier created a new body for him.
Helmend is the chaotic brother of the twins. He feeds off of his brother's joy to scheme glorious plans of chaos. Even if that means the plan is to beat the enemies faces in with his cestus. He plays in the band alongside Ferdinand, Belview, Aris, and Fletcher. A musician that plays the rare Nyckelharpa, Helmend adores music and the arts, including the art of slaughter. He kills knowing full well that he must protect those that cannot protect themselves.
