Having served as a doctor during The Black Death, it was only a matter of time before he too caught the plague. In an attempt to save himself, he mutated his own body and DNA with the genetics of reptiles. This combined with the plague resulted in a mutation that would cost him his humanity, and mortality. With highly potent senses and speed, Jax has a quick hand as he slaughters his foes with knives, facing eternity alongside Ace and Ash. However, because of Ace's toxic gas, he must wear a gas mask that's combined with a skull when they fight together. Sticking with the medical profession, Jax is extremely knowledgeable about both ancient and modern medicine.
A member of The Plague Runners along with Ash and Ace, they have seen many years as they cannot die. Working alongside Clara, the two make an excellent pair as they practice medicine together, their skills saving the lives of their fellow members of The Silence and expanding medical knowledge for the betterment of the nations. He has a rather gentle personality but isn't afraid to show his blood lust when the time calls for him to strike. A much beloved member of The Silence, he is truly one with both his profession, and his blades.
