Created by Doctor Nero, the head of Cult of a Thousand Suns, ED-44 was one of three creatures experimented on and injected with the Mad Dog serum. Like SL-01 and LK-09, these creatures were born with an insane thirst for blood and the flesh of man. This creature in particular is extremely strong, capable of ripping people and other creatures clean in half. It can even rip steel in two, making securing it extremely difficult.
