Created by Doctor Nero, the head of Cult of a Thousand Suns, LK-09 was one of three creatures experimented on and injected with the Mad Dog serum. Like ED-44 and SL-01, these creatures were born with an insane thirst for blood and the flesh of man. This creature in particular is tall and lanky but its strength is vast, fully capable of unhinging its crocodile-like jaw and swallowing its victims whole. Its cries create a sort of sonic boom, shattering glass and eardrums with each supercharged cry it makes. Its skin is nearly bulletproof, its antlers stronger than steel. It lumbers forward at a rather slow pace at times due to its sheer size and mass but do not be fooled, it can be quite quick. So take care when walking through the forest at night. If you hear this creature in the distance, you are already dead.
