Created by Doctor Nero, the head of Cult of a Thousand Suns, SL-01 was one of three creatures experimented on and injected with the Mad Dog serum. Like ED-44 and LK-09, these creatures were born with an insane thirst for blood and the flesh of man. This creature in particular is extremely fast, its stealth and flight abilities too much for many to take. Its talons are sharp as blades, its wings powerful enough to create destructive winds. Capable of climbing on most surfaces due to the strength of its talons and upper body, it can conduct tactical strikes on its prey from the shadows. While not nearly as strong as ED-44 or LK-09, its rapid fire strikes and horrifying speed are enough to allow it to keep up with its horrible mutated kin. The cries of this creature are an indication that no matter how fast you run, you won't get very far.
